The issue could be due to the compatibility of the recording software. First, I would suggest you to check if the software is running in compatibility mode. If the software is not running in the compatibility mode, then I would suggest you to run the recording software in compatibility mode for different operating systems.
Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows Post us the results after you try the above steps. Clearly I'm not the same guy who asked the question, but I am having the same problem. I went ahead and tried out your suggestion, but it isn't making any difference, I still keep getting the same error message. What's the next step? Is there anything I can do, or should I start searching for a new streaming program? EDIT: Ok, so, I looked it up, and it seems like Xsplit did release an update that makes it compatible, so I went ahead and downloaded that. I suppose I don't need any help now.
